Note： Lao-zi is respected as The
Very High Lord after he passed away more than seven hundred years. In the
Taoism their pious reverence and belief in Lao-zi is worth learning. Today when we learn from
Lao-zi, first of all we shall learn his great love for the people and all
beings, learn his academic thinking that the Tao follows nature, and unify
what we have known and what we are going to do, Start with cultivating
ourselves according to the principles of the Great Tao, and the virtue will

days. Lao-zi was once an Official
of Zhou Dynasty responsible for the ancient books and records of the country.
